Artist: Mehida (Finland) Song: Wrath Of Flesh Fellowship CD: The Eminent Storm Genre: METAL Label:BullRoser Homepage
ADDING NOW TO LOUD & METAL FORMATS!!! FROM FINLAND!!!
Out from the finnish music field rises Mehida. After several years of struggling with his musical vision, the keyboard player Mikko Harkin decided to leave his previous band Wingdom to finally accomplish the sight and sound he had been looking after for many years.
Musically the band is concentrated on bringing out the musical extremities, from difficult rhythmic sequences to unexpected modern melodic lines still keeping it all catchy and easy to listen to. The album "Blood & Water" is a reflection of creativism which flows out from the contribution of these talented rockers.
The band's stylistic scale is wide. It flows from the mathematical metal attitude prog to deep dark beautiful ballads. Raging guitars and the strong expression of the singer Thomas Vikström (ex- Candlemass) form the missing link in between the ambient synth atmospheres and precise rhytmic sects.
The album "Blood & Water" was recorded and mixed at the famous Fantom Studio, co-produced and mixed by Samu Oittinen (Diablo, Silentium etc.) On the album Mehida presents over fifty minutes of energetic modern metal. The enthusiasm towards music combined with unique creativity makes Mehida a rocksolid band.
The band line-up: Thomas Vikström - Vocals Toni Mäki-Leppilampi - Bass Mikko Harkin - Keys Jani Stefanovic - Guitars Olli Tanttu - Guitars Markus Niemispelto - Drums

ADDING NOW TO LOUD FORMATS!!! FROM FINLAND!!
Sáwol started as a one man project. In 2005 Pekka started to compose slow and atmospheric music. After some time he decided to make a demo from the material that was ready and waiting, so he called Jussi to help with the drums. In September 2007 a demo was recorded with Jussi in drums and Pekka doing all other instruments and vocals. The demo got a good response but Pekka and Jussi were too busy with their other projects so pretty much nothing happened right after that.
In summer 2008 Pekka realized that the time might be right to continue pushing Sáwol forward. It wouldn't go far with just 2 musicians, so he asked his brother Matti to play the bass and a good friend Miika to play the other guitar. So a line-up was found and Sáwol wasn't a one man project anymore. The first Sáwol show took place in march 2009.
In may 2009 Sáwol entered the studio to start working on the first full-length album. In the middle of the studio sessions, in october, Sáwol headed to Norway to play a show in Nordic Fest. In january 2010 the band signed a deal with Bullroser records to release their debut album Through soil and Skin!

Artist: Wishes Were Fishes Song: Blood Of The Lamb CD: Listen Genre: blues Label:Independent Homepage
ADDING TO BLUES!
Wishes Were Fishes, a band based out of both Fresno and Monterey, CA, has created a style all their own. Mixing rock, reggae, and a touch of ska, Wishes' fresh alternative style is being enthusiastically accepted by audiences all over California.
"Wishes" is a group of musicians who have given their hearts and their talents to the Lord and are using those talents to present the Gospel to young adults around California. The band has been blessed with the ability to attract professional players and has a tremendous amount of collective musical experience represented by the members.
In the "major metropolis" of Fresno, CA, Wishes Were Fishes was formed in August of 1993 by founding members, Chris Bohrman and Jim Belt. Drummer, Steve McDowell joined the band soon after. After a few personnel changes, Wishes locked in with lead guitarist, Dave King in April of '96.
Up to the Winter of 1996, Wishes played mainly in the Fresno and surrounding areas. In January '97, however, God began opening doors for the band in the Bay Area including the very first Spirit Westcoast Christian Music Festival. Consequently, Wishes has found a great number of friends & fans in the Bay Area and affectionately calls it their home away from home! (Chris and family re-located to Monterey in 1997 and the band played on...)
In January, 1999, Gary Price became the newest member of the band, taking over Dave King\'s position as lead/rhythm guitar and b.u. vocals. Gary left Wishes in 2000 to start a new project, Visitor, with long-time pal, Steve McDowell.
2001 brought in a new flavor for Wishes Were Fishes. Stan Flaming who Co-Produced \"HumbleBee\" joined on keyboards and in 2002 Steve returned on drums, making up Wishes Were Fishes, Version 10.0!
2006 and then there were three... Wishes is back to the "Power Trio" format with original members, Jim, Chris and Steve, a bunch of new songs and a streamlined power pop sound.
Newest member Jason Fields! Jason has been playing drums for the Lord since he was knee-high to a grasshopper. Since he's now 6'8" tall, that's been a long time! He has been touring with Wishes since Sept. 2009. Jason shares his rythmic gifts with children of varying ages as a Drum Instructor for the Selma School District. Jas attends New Day Community Church in Selma and plays on the worship team.
*Historic Trivia footnote! Scott Nielsen-(also a Wishes drummer) was Jason's Jr. High Math teacher!

The Frozen Ocean is a collection of songs I, Dave Swanson, have written over the course of the last 3 years. Thematically they chronicle 3 days and nights of explorer Henry Hudson, lost and alone in the frozen Arctic ocean. Lyrically they talk about struggles and victories of forgiveness, love, loss and faith. The Frozen Ocean EP is a very personal CD and the lyrics display the best and worst parts of myself. I\'ve tried to create a world within these songs, to transport the listener to a different place. I hope you enjoy listening to these songs half as much as I have enjoyed making them.

Artist: A New Monday Song: Modern Day CD: We Call it Empathy Genre: rock Label:Independent Homepage
ADDING NOW!!!!
A New Monday
“Modern Day”
Bio :
The very name ‘A New Monday’ originated to signify a new start to the everyday. In its most profound form, could be deemed as motivation to get up and write the day as if it were exclusive to the need for perfection and inclusive to the reality of the intense societal need for acceptance. Their music journals topics such as low self esteem, social injustice, empathy and hope. The dynamic duo of lead singer/song writer Nick Kulhawy and guitarist/singer Mike Roste envisioned writing music that resonated with the inner core of others presenting a sort of relevance and authenticity to many.
So I guess, you could call it caffeinated groove rock with empathetic poetry and the heart of a lion, or you could just call it worth listening to. You choose. They just like to rock! And hope you walk away with a smile
In the fall of 2009, and only being together for a short couple of months the ANM crew had already won two major citywide competitions.
It\'s only been one year now and they have already been in the studio recently releasing their first EP entitled \'We call it Empathy\' and will be in for a second time early this fall. They have opened for classic rock icons \'Loverboy\', and Kim Mitchell and are already a city favourite. They are motivated because of one purpose: \'To be the spark that ignites Christ within\' - Nick

Artist: Wayne Stoddart Song: Love In Any Language CD: Love Convictions Genre: reggae Label:Undiluted Muzic Homepage
IMPACTING REGGAE & WORLD FORMATS!!
On warm tropical evenings, there was one place a young Wayne Stoddart could surely be found – hiding in his father’s vast vinyl record collection. Immersing himself into the scenic soundscape of American Rock and Roll or rocking himself steady to the soothing heartbeat of authentic Jamaican Reggae, Wayne Stoddart loved listening to music. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Wayne enjoyed the comforts of a family that loved music.
Touring as one half of the “Stoddart Brothers” (a group he formed with his brother Steve), Wayne spent his high school years honing his skills both as a vocalist and a musician. Despite the upbeat and lively music he would play, Wayne was fully aware of his surrounding conditions. Living deep in the inner city community of Eastern Kingston, Wayne witnessed firsthand the stifling effects of despair, injustice, hurt and hopelessness.
From the complexities of his surrounding environment, Wayne Stoddart learned the importance of hope, love and joy and realized that music was a medium, which can be used as an effective way of imparting messages of hope to listeners. As an artist, Wayne consciously chooses to pen lyrics that address the “issue of misplaced priorities that plague humanity.” He strives to craft lyrics that strike a balance between relevant and heartfelt; catchy and sincere.
His dedication to authentic musicianship in crafting each and every single track he releases has gained him recognition internationally, including winning the Distinguished Male Vocal award at the 2003 Marlin Gospel Awards as well as a 2002 nomination for Best New Reggae Gospel album at the New York Caribbean Gospel Awards. The title track form his self-produced solo debut, “Committed” (2001) spent 8 weeks at number one on Jamaica’s Love 101FMs top 10 chart.
Now a resident of Florida, Wayne continues to offer authentic reggae vibes to listeners with his sophomore release “Love Convictions” (2007) – a collection of soulful, bass thumping tracks with his signature uplifting inspirational lyrics. Before beginning work on “Love Convictions” Wayne spent months in prayer and reading Holy Scripture. The result was a revelation which he puts simply as “Love. At the root of everything is love. Love in abundance or Lacking Love.” A simple message which Wayne Stoddart uses to lyrically address hard hitting issues – tackling topics like drug abuse, global disunity and the need for persistence in the face of adversity.
With more than twenty years of experience as a musician and vocalist Stoddart quickly points out, “Music is not a career for me. It’s a passion, a calling.” A calling he takes seriously. Having shared the stage with some of the most renowned musical artists such as the Grace Thrillers, Shirley Caesar, F.C. Barnes, Morgan Heritage and Gospel Reggae’s First Lady Judy Mowatt (formerly a member of Bob Marley’s I-Threes), Wayne has had the opportunity to touch many with his musical style and uplifting words. When asked about his music, Wayne simply states “I pray that it makes a difference in the lives of all who come within earshot.”
Paper Tongues plays for the people. Fusing massive rock n' roll melodies with fiery hip hop beats, the Charlotte band conjures an infectious, incendiary sound on their A&M/Octone debut, due out this summer. Embracing elements of rock, funk, rap and soul, these seven individuals have created something you haven't before. It's music for dancing, crying, loving and living. Paper Tongues—Aswan North, Devin Forbes, Cody Blackler, Joey Signa, Clayton Simon, Jordan Hardee and Danny Santell—are a collective of artists, and this record is their first masterpiece.
Paper Tongues' eclectic sound ranges from bombastic songs like "For the People" that can light up a packed arena or a dance floor, while the soulful electronica-infused "Trinity" is inspiring and invigorating. Guitarist Devin Forbes comments, "Our music is extremely eclectic because we're all coming from different places. Aswan grew up with hip hop, Clayton grew up with electronica and I grew up with rock, but it all comes together fluidly in Paper Tongues."

Artist: Scott Towaij Song: One Church CD: Sons Of Light Genre: ac Label:Musical Prayers Homepage
ADDING AC IMMEDIATELY!
Scott Towaij is a unique individual with a very powerful story. He is worship leader and a musician/singer/songwriter but he is also a teacher in a B.I.P. (Behavior Intervention program) with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. He has two degrees (Psychology & Education) and dual certification as a Trauma and Addictions counselor. He has received two awards from the city of Ottawa for his work with children but was once heavily involved in drugs, alcohol and a seedy underworld that almost cost him his life. The fact that Scott is alive today is incredible enough but when you consider the fact that he survived sexual, physical, emotional and mental abuse his story is simply miraculous. Scott has been clean and sober for 21 years now by the grace of Jesus Christ!
Scott presently leads Worship at The MET (The Metropolitan Bible Church) in Ottawa, Ontario twice a month and helps out other area Churches as the need arises. He has been heavily involved with Children\'s Ministry for a number of years and is the Ministry leader for the service arm of momMENtum which is called M.O.S.T. (Men Out Serving Together).
Scott is not new to the music scene as he has been in a variety of different bands since the 80’s. His writing style merges folk, rock, funk, blues and even a bit of jazz. His debut Christian album entitled "Your Love Has Set Me Free" was nominated in the 30TH annual Covenant Awards for JAZZ/BLUES ALBUM of the YEAR. Interestingly enough this was actually Scott’s second album. His 1996 debut secular release entitled "Pushing Through the Pavement" had a top 10 rock hit in Canada. The song Don't blame me I only live here made it on a number of rock charts exactly one position higher than Flood by Jars of Clay and received major airplay and specials on 20 major FM rock stations across Canada. The disc was additionally syndicated to all 30 CBC afternoon shows where it was featured and praised for the quality of the songwriting.
One of the things Scott loves to do is to share his faith testimony with others. Although his story is painful describing a past filled with trouble, he will be very quick to point out that God is using him in a powerful way today. Scott believes very strongly that God allowed him to live through many horrible things so he could reach many who would otherwise be unreachable. Scott identifies greatly with both Paul's struggles that he describes in The Bible and Johnny Cash's struggles in his life. Scott believes that like Paul, he needs to share his faith testimony with others to strengthen, encourage and challenge them to shine their light for Jesus!

Ebony & Ivory (Janice Brown & Monte Stephens)
Under the direction of Gerri Dee, producer fro Freedom Records, two voices from two music genres, were made one! Echoing from the past, Janice brown once again returns to the studio and steps into the gospel recording scene.
Brown made history in 1983, becoming the first black gospel group to go gold! The recording, "Rough Side Of The Mountain" with F.C.Barnes shot them to the top. Monte Stephens labeled "The Godfather of Christian Country Music", with three number one songs, six international Top 20 hits and seven time Grammy contender complete Ebony & Ivory.
Dee said, "With the guiding of the Holy Spirit, my goal was not to bring two powerful voices together, but two anointed God-called ministers at the miek together to reach souls for His Kingdom! Gerri Dee reached the goal and then some! Alive and Well is a musical experience like I have never witnessed."
Those who have heard Alive & Well are making all kinds of predictions of the future of this album. Forget all of that! Sit down at a quiet time, uninterupted by anything in the world. Let the music take you into a heavenly place with Jesus Christ. For this purpose only was this recording done!

Artist: A Rotterdam November Song: Breakdown CD: LOVE Is Genre: rock Label:Independent Homepage
ADDING NOW!!!
A Rotterdam November was formed In Boise, Idaho in late 2006. The band has six members each bringing unique musical talent and experience to the group. These varied backgrounds create a convergence of styles from classical to the most modern artists, which integrate to create ARN’s unique sound. The name “A Rotterdam November” is the brainchild of Jared Nelson and contains a metaphorical meaning describing the mission and heart of the band.
The city of Rotterdam in the Netherlands was bombed during WWII and the main part of the city was completely destroyed. At that time, a Russian/French sculptor saw the wasteland and dubbed it “the city without a heart.” However, the spirit of Rotterdam was determined to “…go on, eyes firmly fixed on the present and the future, and not to linger in the past.” As a result, architects were presented with the opportunity to reconstruct the heart of Rotterdam from scratch and so they did.
As it stands today, Rotterdam is an old city with a new heart. This is the analogy for Christians; the enemy’s goal is to destroy mankind and he has been partly successful through Adam’s original sin. However, that is not the end of the story, through Jesus’ death and resurrection, mankind has the opportunity to be reconstructed with a brand new heart. Spreading this message through music, whether directly or indirectly, is the goal and desire of the band A Rotterdam November.

James 2:14-17 " What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

ADDING NOW TO ROCK!!
Uprise began in late 2007 with founding members, Pete Montiel and Louie Galvez. The two young men decided to unify their shared passions for music and God by writing music that is different and bold, music with positive lyrics that people from all different walks of life can relate to and appreciate. A few close friends quickly learned of the new project and jumped at the opportunity to join. Uprise now consists of Pete Montiel on guitar, Gez Sanmiguel on drums, Robert Burnside on lead guitar, Santiago Diaz on bass and Louie Galvez as lead vocals.
The five members have made it their goal to infuse excitement, energy and truth into every song and performance. Because their individual musical backgrounds are so diverse, they do not hold back when it comes to exploring different sounds. Their lyrics are very catchy but also a breath of fresh air that brings hope and encouragement to many. Some of their underlying themes are not allowing the past get the better of you or define who you are, but standing true to what you believe and most importantly, recognizing that we are never alone. Uprise is and forever will be the hard-hitting, inspiring group of guys that will leave a mark wherever their music is heard.

Adding NOW!
David Dunn, a funny, loud-mouthed kid from West Texas, started his music career in college while obtaining a Petroleum Engineering degree from Texas Tech University. Before graduating, he had already finished a full length album entitled Eye Sore. After graduation, he took a break from music and spent a year in Zambia, Africa doing humanitarian and mission work.
Upon return to the States, David relocated to Oklahoma City, assembled a band, and began work on his second album; the self-titled David Dunn EP. His second record broke away from the acoustic rock feel that made up Eye Sore and went after a sound that included elements of pop, rock and R&B.
After finishing his newest project, David Dunn and Co. have continued traveling, performing, and expanding a fan base in Texas, Oklahoma and the surrounding states, being blessed enough to share the stage with performers like: The Afters, Sanctus Real, Skillet, Dave Barnes, Ben Rector, Shawn Mcdonald, MAE, Casting Crowns, Sea Bird, Remedy Drive, John Mclaughlin, Family Force 5, Run Kid Run, and many more.
With new material on the way, a new album in the foreseeable future, and a growing fan base, David Dunn's marketable sound and desire for continued growth will continue to open doors for this talented young artist.
