"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 Corinthians 15:55
The Boy Who Shed His Skin You know it’s just a bloody nuisance Said the boy who shed his skin Another lessen to be learned You know we all die in the end
So you’d better just get on, then Said a man just half my size Not time to set and cry about it No place for you to run and hide
Cut these ties that hold me down That’s the only way to begin You can drop my weary bones in the ground Said the boy who shed his skin
Well, you know it’s been quite painful Year to year and week to week He bruises with the slightest touch Even a kiss a upon the cheek
I’ve seen him with the Lords and ladies They can’t resist his boyish charm And even with his loving mother As she rocked him in her arms
Cut these ties that hold me down That’s the only way to begin You can drop my weary bones in the ground Said the boy who shed his skin
Soon I’ll be flying home So far from all the pain that I have known Soon I’ll be flying home And now it’s clear to me the time has come to go
Cut these ties that hold me down That’s the only way to begin You can drop my weary bones in the ground Said the boy who shed his skin
Soon I’ll be flying home So far from all the pain that I have known Soon I’ll be flying home And now it’s clear to me the time has come to go
Soon I’ll be flying home Said the boy who shed his skin Soon I’ll be flying home Said the boy who shed his skin Soon I’ll be flying home Said the boy who shed his skin

Fans of industrial metal have been patiently awaiting a sophomore release from Coriolis since their debut album introduced a new sound to the scene in 2005. The album, cynically titled "The Endless Funeral," is a concept album in the vein of Pink Floyd's "The Wall," and "The Downward Spiral" by Nine Inch Nails. "The album is about life," says Jonathan Stamets, "and more specifically about my life. It's very honest, and very gritty.
Instead of documenting a decline into insanity, Like The Wall, or drug use like Downward Spiral, this is documenting the last 5 years of Jonathans' life." There's a lot of cynicism, bitterness, and anger in these songs. "There is no uplifting "spin," and the songs aren't given the "encouragement treatment" that people expect from Christian artists. The encouragement comes from the fact that when you're going through it, you know you're not alone, and someone else has been through it and survived with their faith intact: Me." shares Jonathan.
Musically, Coriolis' sound has evolved into something ominous and unexpected. Industrial influences such as Nine Inch Nails are much more prominent, and vocal influences from Korn and Marilyn Manson have come to the surface in a very unexpected way.
Fans of Stabbing Westward, Celldweller, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, and Nine Inch Nails will definitely want to check out this new release!

For those of you in Nashville you know as well as I do how badly the word needs spread about our disaster here. Most I have talked to outside of our city have only heard of the depths of our destruction via Twitter and Facebook, this is a shame.
Last week I spent 3 full days in Bellevue helping those who have lost everything try to establish themselves on the road to recovery. We removed all of their belongings from what used to be their home, and now is only a grave and a reminder of everything they once had, we gutted their houses – most from floor to ceiling. Removing all carpet, tile, hardwood floors, drywall, door – window frames, appliances, and cabinets. Doing as much as we could to keep mold from settling in and causing the house to be condemned.
The looks on the faces of all those who once lived there is something that will stay with me forever. I could feel the pain as it lingered in their eyes. Shock is definitely still a big part of what keeps them from completely losing it – I think it will be a while before this really sinks in for all of us.
I stood and listened as people told stories of how a couple in the next house died together because they could not get out. They told their own stories of how they were up to their neck in water and panicking to reach the second floor of their home.
Their reality, their nightmare is not being told. Nashville needs you. Nashville needs hope.
Nashville needs to know, and feel, that the sun is coming out.

Bio HarvestBloom, a Christian Rock Band formed in 2007 from Silver Spring, Maryland, follows their self-titled 2009 EP with a new 6-song EP entitled DEVIL’S POISON (May 2010). After receiving favorable reviews and airplay on Christian Rock Radio with their first EP, HarvestBloom went into the studio in late 2009 to record their second EP with Producer, Tony Correlli (Ashes Remain and Orphan Project) of Deep End Recording Studio in Baltimore, Maryland.
The theme of the second EP, DEVIL’S POISON is about the struggle within and the choices we make. NATURAL COMPUSLION, the first radio cut from the EP are about how when people are left to their own devices, they tend to make self-destructive choices. The title song of the EP, DEVIL’S POISON tells the story of Cain and Abel - but from Cain’s point of view. ANGEL’S CRYING was written about children that are innocently killed and for those who have their innocence stolen and their choices taken through abuse, slavery or prostitution. MY SWEET JESUS is simply a song about wanting to serve Jesus while UNMISTAKABLE GRACE is about Missions. The final song on the 6 song EP is called BLOOD (THE CREED) is an anthem of praise featuring a choir and guest vocals by Nikki Lerner. Additional notes about the songs can be found on the EP.
HarvestBloom will be releasing the first music video for NATURAL COMPULSION from the EP in late May.

A poignant song about childhood memories of a God fearing mother who’s gone to be with God. Perfect for Mothers Day specials!
IN MY MOTHER'S HOUSE In my Mother’s house there is a welcoming Though it comes not from a sign above the door In my Mother’s house there is a homecoming For all who’ve made their bed there once before
In my Mother’s house there is a gathering
Of tears and laughter, voices young and old In my Mother’s house there is a history Of Bible Stories, Prayers and Sunday clothes
In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house It won’t be long
In my mother’s house there is a reverence For God and Country, for family and friends
In my mother’s house there is a presence Of grace and mercy, of a love that never ends
In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house It won’t be long
In my mother’s house there is a longing A void that tugs the heart from deep within In my Mother’s house there is a longing A hope of reuniting once again
In my mother’s house there is a welcoming And it does not leave you as you journey on your way And in my mother’s house there is a homecoming For God has come to take her home today
In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house It won’t be long In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house We’ll sing this song
