Carmen Miller is a soulful songstress and energetic performer who brings the best of what people love about music together in one total package: great stage presence and quality sound. Singer/songwriter Zach Hardison has been performing and leading worship for over 14 years. His songwriting career began at the age of fifteen and won several local and state competitions. In 2008, Zach was selected by the Mountaire Gospel Talent Search as the Singer/Songwriter of the Year! He was also the runner up for Male Vocalist of the Year!

The Zach Hardison Band is in full swing with an amazing group of musicians that love God. The band includes Thomas Guglielmo (drums/vocals), Phyllis Patton (percussion), Josh Jones (bass), Ryan Mekkes (electric guitar/vocals).

Zach is inspired by the people in his life - a beautiful wife and awesome kids. His biggest inspiration is the God that freed him of his guilt and shame. The Lord gave him purpose.

Currently serving as the Praise and Worship director for Jesus Christ the Chief Cornerstone Ministries, LaShanda has been leading worship for well over 10 years. With a passion for music and a desire to touch God’s heart, her voice has been a gift that has blessed many!

In her hometown of Rochester, NY LaShanda is well known for her passion to worship. She has traveled to many cities, sang with various choirs and minstrels, she has even shared stages with artist’s such as Charles Woolfork, Deitrick Haddon, Kurt Carr, Kirk Franklin, and Freddy Rodriguez. Showcased in 1994 on Bobby Jones Gospel, performed at Kingdom Bound 2009/2012, and the list goes on.

Her most recent project,“Contagious”, is now available on Itunes, Google Play, Amazon, and many other digital markets. This is a summary of her life and the journey to worship. The heart of this album is to bring the church back to the heart of God. When the struggles and circumstances of life overwhelm us and threaten to sink our ship, we need a lift. YOU LIFT ME UP is a prayer to God asking for his help in navigating the course that is set before us, a reminder that it is God that orders our steps.

Bio :
No one knows how much time they have to spend on this planet. With that in mind, we should spend our time doing the things we love the most. This is how the members of Hollywood Heroes believe they should live out their lives. For Jon, Mike, Matt and TJ life is filled with opportunities and openings to dream big and live out a message of hope and love in a world that could use a pick me up. Their music is filled with lyrics that are meant to inspire and encourage the people of this generation to refuse to just sit back and watch their lives pass them by. That idea of being a beacon of light in the darkness inspired the name Hollywood Heroes. It’s about an entertainer choosing to use their influence and resources to make the world a better place. It’s about choosing to be a hero because underneath our individual selfish desires there is a hero in all of us.

The four members of HH grew up in the small town of Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. The boys roots run deep in the community where their parents all went to school together and their grandparents were friends. Each one enjoyed the simple life of a small town, and each was drawn to music through different avenues. Playing worship music in Church and at Chapel was always a big part of their lives, and helped them to hone their individual skills. Soon the boys found themselves writing and composing their own music in basements and on laptops. It was all about posting their tunes on myspace for friends and family to check out. After High School everyone went their separate ways, some choosing school, while others traveled to places like Thailand, New Zealand and Europe.

During the summer of 2008, Jon and Mike had travelled to Whitehorse in the Yukon Territories of Canada. It was during this time they started working on music with a new sort of vibe. Combining influences of pop, rock, punk, and electronica they started what would become Hollywood Heroes. TJ soon became involved and by the end of the summer they had created two songs and continued to collaborate through the school year as all three went back to college.

At the end of the college semester in 2009 the members decided they wanted to pursue a career in music full time, and in August 2009 began to work on an album. It was at this time that Matt joined the band and became the fourth and latest member of Hollywood Heroes. The fall and winter of 2009 were spent rehearsing, writing, and playing shows. Mysteriously in 2010, Jon experienced the total loss of his voice. No one seems quite clear on the exact reasons, but by the summer of 2012, he was beginning to sing again. In the fall of 2012 Jon started the machine again, and began work on two new singles, which are nearing completion. The first single, entitled Shanghai Skyline is in the final stages of mixing.

LEGENDARY ROCK SINGER JOHN SCHLITT’s ‘THE GIFT’ GOING FOR ADDS AT CHRISTIAN RADIO TO CELEBRATE VALENTINE’S DAY

Song From Current CD, The Greater Cause, Written In Honor of Schlitt’s Wife

To commemorate the most celebrated day of love in the year, 4K Records has announced the release of “The Gift” from multiple Grammy and Dove Award-winning recording artist John Schlitt. The single, written in honor of Schlitt’s wife, Dorla, and featured on the legendary vocalist’s current CD, The Greater Cause, is going for adds today to AC/INSPO, CHR and Rock-formatted Christian radio stations in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

“We believe ‘The Gift’ is a wonderful song for programmers to add throughout the first half of February in preparation for Valentine’s Day,” says Jeff McLaughlin, president of A-Sides Radio Promotion. “Its message of love between a man and a woman, which God created, will be a nice addition to the playlist during this season.”

The single, written by the CD’s producer Dan Needham, along with Grammy Award winner Andrew Ramsey (Jonny Lang, Mandisa, India.Arie) and Schlitt, was named a Top Relationship Song by NewReleaseTuesday in 2012 in a category that included songs by Chris August, Sara Groves, Bebo Norman, Todd Agnew, Francesca Battistelli, Dave Barnes, JJ Heller, Audrey Assad, Natalie LaRue and Lara Landon.

“It is wonderful to see that the song, ‘The Gift,’ which celebrates the special relationship between my God, my wife, and myself, can also be special to others,” says Schlitt, who says the song is based on Ecclesiastes 4:9, 12 (“Two are better than one” and “a three-fold cord is not quickly broken”).

“I know that God brought us together and by His grace kept us through those years and the foolishness that went with them. It was in the process of her coming to Christ first and Jesus using her in my life that changed everything for me…and for us,” Schlitt says. “It’s like the picture of the triangle with Jesus at the top point. He loves us. We love Him. Because of that we can love each other. With our faith in Jesus at the center of our relationship, our knowledge of our true selves helps us to truly grow in our love for one another.”

A couple of years ago, Tony (our lead guitarist), was asked to explain how our band came into existence. His reply was “The band came to exist as the result of poor communication, bad decisions, hurt feelings, rebellion, love, caring, support, and a passion for God. (We) started sometime back in 1999 with many ups and downs along the way.” I could never succinctly surmise the last dozen years any better if I tried.

AwakenUs originated as a praise and worship band. In 2008, Holly (our lead vocalist) had a vision for an original song given to her. “Mirror” took form within the group; quickly followed by “Awaken”, our first single. The 11 tracks on the album “Reveal” came together through months of writing, rewriting, and recording in 2009 at Rundown Studios in Topeka, KS.

During this time, we also set up Reveal Ministries; a not-for-profit organization to promote God’s message of grace. To support our first album release, we performed various shows to so that people could hear our music.

Recently, we were in the creative process again. With a more polished sound, our new EP, "The Forgotten", has a release date of 1/29/2013.
