Karen Fisher is a gifted singer/songwriter living in Midland, TX, where she currently serves in the worship ministry at Stonegate Fellowship. Over the last seven years Karen has been polishing her songwriting skills while releasing two independent projects: Just Like Me, in 2003, and her latest, The New Has Come. Since her debut release, Karen has had the opportunity to open for several major recording artists including Lincoln Brewster and the vocal group Avalon.
Karen's soul-stirring lyrics and catchy melodies easily connect her to a wide range of listeners. She has performed everywhere from large outdoor festivals and church concerts to more intimate settings where she shares her stories and songs at various women's events. Her ability to blend her own music with more commonly used songs creates a unique, engaging, and worshipful atmosphere.
She has led worship for PrayerForce with Fern Nichols of Moms in Touch and Jennifer Kennedy Dean of the Praying Life Foundation, as well as sharing her music at speaking engagements with other well-known authors including David Limbaugh, Lisa Whelchel, and Nancy Cobb. She recently returned from the 30th annual GMA "Music in the Rockies" competition where she placed 3rd in both the pop/contemporary vocal performance and songwriting category.
Karen has been called "The Voice of Moms" because her music genuinely touches the hearts of mothers everywhere. She writes from personal experience and her lyrics, along with her storytelling, are real, honest, and relational. The purpose of her music is to minister to others, encourage them with sincerity and honesty, and to show them a heart that loves Jesus. For more than 20 years, Dove Award-winning recording artist Solveig Leithaug (Sol-vey Light-houg) Henderson has won audiences worldwide with her soothing voice, remarkable guitar playing and songwriting talents. Her newest release;” Worship You”, produced by Tore W. Aas, with eleven original songs, was recently released on Authentic Records (former WORD UK) internationally.
Authentic Records dubs her release as “in vogue, and long awaited”. An original member of the Oslo Gospel Choir, (with over one million sold CDs,) she’s been a staple on the Scandinavian gospel scene and performed throughout Europe and the USA since her late teens. In 1984, at the tender age of 18, she was awarded the title Artist of the Year by the music magazine “Treff”, and at 20, Solveig received the Dove Award as “International Artist of the Year” by the Gospel Music Association in Nashville, TN.
In February 2007, she was awarded a Gold Record for the popular children's CD production "Min Båt Er Så Liten", (My Boat is So Little), released by Lynor AS.
Solveig continues to perform concerts and lead worship for such as the Jesus Women conferences held annually in Oslo, Norway. She was the appointed worship leader for Billy Graham's daughter Anne Graham Lotz` “Just Give Me Jesus” on May 12, 2007 in Oslo’s Spektrum, dubbed as "a historic event" by the media, and the largest gathering of women in that nation ever. Also at the same venue, she lead worship during "Azusa Europe"; The Pentecostal Centenniel Celebration, at a week's gathering of thousands of Europeans, in September of 2007.
Remarkable stories of her music’s effect on people of all walks include traumatized children and adults being able to sleep, and physical and emotional healings taking place have been reported by numerous through the years. An ordained minister since 1994, she has contributed commentary to Thomas Nelsons “Women of Destiny Bible”.
Upon artists Russ Taff and Lynda Randle's recommendation, the legendary Bill Gaither invited Solveig to join his Homecoming Tour for several concert shows since 2005, with up to 16 000 in the audience. He also included her in the line up of artists on the Alaskan Cruise in the summer of 2007, the same week of the release of DVD taping live from the Grand Ole Opry; "How Great Thou Art" where Solveig is featured with her own rendition of "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms".
Solveig's song "Army of Compassion" was included in August, 2007 on a CD/DVD-set, "Songs of Justice & Mercy", to mark the 25 year anniversary of compassion ministry World Vision. She is here in the fine company of some of the world's most best-known Christian artists, such as Hillsong United, Matt Redman, Delirious?, Robin Mark,Vineyard UK, The Longing, Andy Bromley and Worship Africa. The CD was released in Europe in August, 2007 by Authentic Records.
A frequent guest artist on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) since 1988, she recently premiered her newest music video "All The Way To Heaven", produced by award winning producers Dan & Raven Rubottom with Epiphany Creative.(David Crowder Band, Third Day etc.) Besides her two "home lands"; Norway and the USA, she has performed in nations such as Albania, South Africa, Malaysia, Brazil, Germany, Poland, Holland, Monaco, Finland, Austria, The United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland.
She is currently in preparations to record her first Christmas CD.
Solveig was born on Frekhaug, Norway in 1966. She counts it her greatest joy to be the mother of David Levi, Kari Julianna and John Markus. They make their home in Colorado Springs, CO.

Ken says, "The song got some fine tuning, but best of all, it got Douged. That is, it got Doug Egling’s horn on it. Very very nice. I have to relay the story. I knew we were on a time crunch to get the song and related materials to the promoter. I called Kevin from the outdoor deck at Pontillo’s in Batavia (my family waiting for me, while I was on my cell). I said, “I know time and schedules is a killer, but is there any way at all to get Doug onto the song before it gets sent out.”
Kevin replies, “Well, I’m leaving for Toronto tomorrow, and we’ll be gone till Tuesday. The only time I could do it is right now, tonight.” So, let me call Doug, I said. Now, Doug is a busy busy busy man. I thought in my head, take a shot, but don’t get your hopes up. I got Doug on the phone (family still waiting for me). “Doug, I know this is nutso, but is there anytime you might be able to do this.” He says, “well, the only time I have is right now, tonight.” I almost fell over the side railing. God is so good. When we drove past Kevin’s house later (much later) on the way home, Doug’s car was still there. God bless’em. So, it is done!

Lindsey Kane has learned this reality and taken it to heart. As you listen to the words of her songs, it is amazing how many of them might just relate to seasons of your own life. Lindsey loves life and she loves people. Lindsey’s sound is unique. It is a mixture of soft intimate vocals on the piano and then gritty raw vocals on the guitar with an acoustic pop/rock feel. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. Watching her live in concert, you are captivated by the purity of her heart and her boldness to speak truth as she commentates. Her humor wraps it all together in a package that engages the audience and helps them to feel like they are a part of every song with her.
The wisdom she shares is beyond her 24 years – she is incredibly anointed. Of the songs she writes, Lindsey says, “God inspires all of my music and I believe that He gives me all the songs. I love traveling all across the United States with the message of bringing glory to God and passion to people. I think we were created to bring glory to God, so I’m trying to do that through music.”
Lindsey Kane’s goal is to bring glory to God and passion to people especially through leading worship at all different kinds of events across the country. The band Relevant Worship began when members from two Western New York rock bands, Adelaide and Elektromat, came together wanting to write music to uplift Jesus and shed some positive light in a depressed region. Relevant Worship is a band as well as a ministry.
