Alache, a twenty five year old singer/ songwriter, has always known the incredible power of music. Growing up as the Daughter of her father, a military officer and her mother, an international evangelist, she quickly learned the importance of having a strong message behind her music. While most were learning to talk at the age of 1 she was already singing her heart out.
Alache represents a new breed of inspirational pop/urban music. Her vision is to reach out to a lost generation, to become a shining light in the midst of darkness. With influences such as Miriam Makeba, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Areatha Franklin and many more, Alache adapted the soul of the old and blended it with the flare of the new. Her style is unique to say the least. Her sound is as rich and as colorful as the culture that runs through her veins.
Alache is African for "watchlady", and leading the youth of the world with a positive and uplifting message is exactly what she aims to do through every song she writes. Ever since the first time she stepped into the booth she knew that music was her calling. The path that has chosen her has been a long journey and is far from over. With her new cd she has finally found that perfect mix of commercially appealing music, laced with the genuinely earthy substance of her soul.
Truth, Love, and honesty are what make Alache stand out in this crowded industry of fake smiles and misleading music. Remembering her past she brings you a soulful blend of yesterday and looking to the future she brings a sound that will define a new era of R&B Music.

FIRST OFF I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE JASSICA FOR HER SUPPORT...THANKS BABE FOR SHOWING ME GOD'S LOVE
I'm J-CLX(J-CLIX) a Hiphop artist my aim is to get another ear to hear me out, trying to get another spirit to believe in my music as much as I do. I was born in Toronto, Canada in 1983, with Jamaican and English parents. I grew up listening to R&B and Reggae. As I entered my teens I started to form a passion for hip hop, however it wasn't till I was 19 that I would decide to devote my whole life to making music.
I worked really hard to become better and better everyday. Writing late at night when I got home from work and many times I re-wrote songs or threw them away if I didn't think they were a hit single.
When I was 21 I started to get some breaks. I was awarded a VideoFact grant for a music video and that year my video was playing on much Vibe, my song was playing on local radio stations and I had just finished my album. That all changed when I met a guy named Bree and he introduced me to Jesus Christ.
My world was flipped upside down and though it was hard, I knew I could no longer persue the type of music that I was currently making. It really hurt me, I put a lot of hardwork, sweat, time and A LOT OF MONEY, but I had to trust God.
I realized I would rather know the true God than continue living a lie with my music. I scrapped my album and at the time it was heartbreaking, but I later found out it would be more than worth it. In 2005 I got married and in 2006 I had my son, Silas. I didn't know how everything would turn out, adding more to my life while still trying to make it in the music industry.
However God is training me to trust him and he hasn't let me down and I know he won't. Now I'm on track with better music now then even before and I'm doing it with God.
Bernadette Harold started her singing at an early age, but you wouldn't have expected anything less with a father known as 'DJ Pete' and a mother whose passion is singing. Her early musical influences came from listening to her father play records from Motown to Southern Gospel around the house and at family celebrations. It was during those times he would spontaneously give her the microphone and record her singing 'The Candy Man.'
At the tender age of ten, Bernadette gave her heart to the Lord and began singing with her siblings in The Reflection of The Divine Life Choir at Southern Baptist Church under the direction of Kevin Christopher. At that moment Bernadette's life was transformed. "Being used by God changed my life, I realized that singing was the vocation I wanted to do for the rest of my life ... there is no greater joy."
This experience afforded her the opportunity to sing at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem N.Y.Bernadette continued her singing in the Youth Choir at First Baptist Church of Brownville directed by Alvin Freeland. It was there that Pastor Freeland took notice of her gift of singing and adopted her into his singing group, Alvin Freeland Co. From there, it would be an 8 year journey that would take her all over New York, New Jersey, Maryland, South Carolina and Chicago. In addition to her 8 years of singing and traveling, she also sang with the world-renowned Reverend Timothy Wright and the Concert Choir.
One would think that singing and traveling would satisfy this up and coming songbird, but it didn't. Bernadette decided to step out on her own. It was then she would give solo performances at the well-known NYC club, Sweet Waters. Although secular genre like Jazz and RB was her main repertoire, gospel was not far from her heart. She later returned to her gospel roots when she re-dedicated her heart to the Lord and joined the Grammy Award Winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir directed by Carol Cymbala. For the past 13 years as a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Bernadette has had the privileged of ministering in song at street meetings, churches across this nation, and from Madison Square Garden in NYC to Jamaica and Bermuda.
After the birth of her second son, Maurice, God began to bless Bernadette with the gift of song writing. One of her songs, 'You Are Someone,' which was written for her son's kindergarten graduation, has become the theme song for the school. To date, she has written numerous gospel songs.
When asked what her greatest honor she says is, "The greatest honor of all is singing for Christ and being in His presence. I can not see myself singing for anyone else."
Bernadette Harold resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Maurice Harold and their three children David, Maurice, and Valerie. She is a woman full of love, integrity and laughter.
