Alache, a twenty five year old singer/ songwriter, has always known the incredible power of music. Growing up as the Daughter of her father, a military officer and her mother, an international evangelist, she quickly learned the importance of having a strong message behind her music. While most were learning to talk at the age of 1 she was already singing her heart out.
Alache represents a new breed of inspirational pop/urban music. Her vision is to reach out to a lost generation, to become a shining light in the midst of darkness. With influences such as Miriam Makeba, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Areatha Franklin and many more, Alache adapted the soul of the old and blended it with the flare of the new. Her style is unique to say the least. Her sound is as rich and as colorful as the culture that runs through her veins.
Alache is African for "watchlady", and leading the youth of the world with a positive and uplifting message is exactly what she aims to do through every song she writes. Ever since the first time she stepped into the booth she knew that music was her calling. The path that has chosen her has been a long journey and is far from over. With her new cd she has finally found that perfect mix of commercially appealing music, laced with the genuinely earthy substance of her soul.
Truth, Love, and honesty are what make Alache stand out in this crowded industry of fake smiles and misleading music. Remembering her past she brings you a soulful blend of yesterday and looking to the future she brings a sound that will define a new era of R&B Music.

In 2005 God brought together 6 young men to do his will, Min. Gary Chatman, Daniel Chatman Jr., Terry McLamore Sr., Andrae Lenear Sr, Henry Pitts Jr. and Arlo Rollock. In 2007 God blessed Judah with 2 more members Joey Paris and Stevie Floyd. These 8 young men are on fire for the Lord at all times and are ready and willing to spread his word to everyone through gospel music. It doesn\'t matter who you are young, old, rich, poor, strong or weak in faith you will be you blessed from there praise and that is just what they do give God the Praise. With a heavy anointing Judah sings with conviction, power, versatility, and local Gospel groups and choirs in Rochester, N.Y. Judah has been blessed with the opportunity to travel up and down the East Coast allowing them to share the stage with gospel greats such as The Flint Cavilers, The Christianaires, Walter Barns, and a host of others. Judah\'s inspiration comes from gospel artist such as The Cantons, Take Six, John P. Kee, Frank Williams, and Paul Porter. The main objective of Judah is to let people know you dont have to dress or look a certain way to receive a blessing from the Lord, and especially to the younger people that you can be saved and still have fun, praising the Lord. So if you have not yet heard these young men the next time you hear the name Judah come on out and get your praise on with them because when praises go up blessings come down. Judah wants you to know that your blessing is on the way.
Bernadette Harold started her singing at an early age, but you wouldn't have expected anything less with a father known as 'DJ Pete' and a mother whose passion is singing. Her early musical influences came from listening to her father play records from Motown to Southern Gospel around the house and at family celebrations. It was during those times he would spontaneously give her the microphone and record her singing 'The Candy Man.'
At the tender age of ten, Bernadette gave her heart to the Lord and began singing with her siblings in The Reflection of The Divine Life Choir at Southern Baptist Church under the direction of Kevin Christopher. At that moment Bernadette's life was transformed. "Being used by God changed my life, I realized that singing was the vocation I wanted to do for the rest of my life ... there is no greater joy."
This experience afforded her the opportunity to sing at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem N.Y.Bernadette continued her singing in the Youth Choir at First Baptist Church of Brownville directed by Alvin Freeland. It was there that Pastor Freeland took notice of her gift of singing and adopted her into his singing group, Alvin Freeland Co. From there, it would be an 8 year journey that would take her all over New York, New Jersey, Maryland, South Carolina and Chicago. In addition to her 8 years of singing and traveling, she also sang with the world-renowned Reverend Timothy Wright and the Concert Choir.
One would think that singing and traveling would satisfy this up and coming songbird, but it didn't. Bernadette decided to step out on her own. It was then she would give solo performances at the well-known NYC club, Sweet Waters. Although secular genre like Jazz and RB was her main repertoire, gospel was not far from her heart. She later returned to her gospel roots when she re-dedicated her heart to the Lord and joined the Grammy Award Winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir directed by Carol Cymbala. For the past 13 years as a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Bernadette has had the privileged of ministering in song at street meetings, churches across this nation, and from Madison Square Garden in NYC to Jamaica and Bermuda.
After the birth of her second son, Maurice, God began to bless Bernadette with the gift of song writing. One of her songs, 'You Are Someone,' which was written for her son's kindergarten graduation, has become the theme song for the school. To date, she has written numerous gospel songs.
When asked what her greatest honor she says is, "The greatest honor of all is singing for Christ and being in His presence. I can not see myself singing for anyone else."
Bernadette Harold resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Maurice Harold and their three children David, Maurice, and Valerie. She is a woman full of love, integrity and laughter.
Artist: Faith In Action Song: We Are CD: Live Genre: gospel Label:Independent Homepage
Faith in Action Live, our ten-year celebration CD, is here!
February 1: Faith in Action Live is nominated for 2007 CARA awards in Religious Album and Religious Song ("We Are") categories. Winners will be announced April 1 (no foolin').
Faith in Action is a higher-powered women's a cappella group, combining a taste of jazz with a big gospel sound. Founded in March of 1996, the ad hoc group sang the same song (Sweet Honey in the Rock's "We Are") over several months for church-related events, culminating in a performance at Madison Square Garden in August 1996 for church members from DC to Maine.
After Madison Square Garden, we decided maybe God had a plan for the group, and maybe it was time to learn more than one song. We chose a name, added another member, and learned some original tunes. Since then, FIA has performed with the Boston a cappella community (at a cappella showcases, clubs, and East Coast A Cappella Summits), in gospel concerts, for a variety of benefit events, and on WGBH-TV with Bobby McFerrin. FIA placed third at the Boston Regional Harmony Sweepstakes in 1999.
2006 marks ten years together, and we’ve regrouped with some former members to produce a long talked-about CD. We're excited about the result, and hope you will be, too!
