ADDING NOW TO JAZZ & AC FORMATS!
I have been playing the guitar since as early as I can remember. My father taught me how to play and I haven't put the guitar down since. When my father passed away there were many other people that came into my life that were instrumental in shaping my musical style. As I grew older, I was privileged to play with some of the most talented musicians in Rochester, New York, and these experiences began to largely shape my songs.
Song writing became a passion of mine as a young teenager. When I was 19, I distinctly remember sitting at a Phil Wickham (National Christian recording artist) concert and thinking, "Wow, I would love to do what he is doing up on stage." From that point on it was almost as if God began giving me songs to write. I have heard comparisons of my music to those of artists such as: Shawn Mcdonald, Matt Kearney, Jack Johnson, and Jason Mraz, to name a few.
Like most artists, it is nearly impossible to continue in your craft without the support and encouragement from friends and listeners. I guess I got my start just playing in my friends house for anyone that was over and wanted to hear. As I began to meet more and more people, the overwhelming positive feedback is what kept pushing me to keep writing and performing. I have been blessed to have crossed paths with people that have generously offered their services (website, myspace, booking shows, etc.).
I want to be known as someone that writes about stuff that matters. Nothing makes me happier than when someone comes up to me to say, "Your music really inspires me to..." As long as God continues to inspire me to write, I am going to try to inspire others.

LoneSoulJAH:
Born N'gai Canute-Tyree Washington, the man known as LoneSoulJAH Has worn quite a few hats in the music industry but the one that seems to fit him best is that of artist. The New York born, South Florida native started his relationship with music at the tender age of ten when he freestyled his first rhyme in the lunchroom of Fairway elementary school. Since then he has gone on to be an accomplished DJ under the name DJ Disciple 21, taking on duties spinning records in both mainstream and underground radio, nightclubs, international television as well as concert venues and organized festivals.
During this period He would also get his 1st glimpse of the inner workings of the urban music market while working for Reggae music distribution giant VP Records. The opportunity taught him the ins and outs of the record business as well as allowing him to form relationships with a large network of artists and radio personalities…
Having paid his dues as a Manager at VP, a DJ and a television host, a spiritual awakening called him away from the music industry for a period of five years. Having seen 1st hand the negative effects of the socially irresponsible lyrical content of the music he was playing, he decided to permanently retire from his duties as a disc jokey.
It was during this hiatus that he realized his true calling was to create an alternative to the music that was choking the airwaves of urban radio and television. With this calling on his heart, he and two co-workers co-founded a gospel rap group called the FootSoulJahs. The trio began to write and record music with Mentor, Producer and Gospel singer Win "Uncle Win" Tompkins. Soon after recording began the three were well received as they performed at numerous church shows and events ministering to the impressionable young Hip-Hop generation. Only about a year after the group began they disbanded to pursue individual projects.
Now a solo act, He took on the title of LoneSoulJAH signifying his emancipation from the group and began recording his premier project with Win Tompkins and Hip-Hop producer Walter "2Nice" Vega. Liberated from the restraints of the group, LoneSoulJAH found himself able to write and express his thoughts freely without compromise. This has brought about a variety of expression whether it be spiritual, political, satirical or extremely personal, his creativity seems to know no bounds!
Jumping from rapping to singing or chanting in Jamaican patois in a heartbeat it's hard to predict what you'll hear next from this dynamically gifted writer and performer. At home on the stage, LoneSoulJAH has rocked the crowd everywhere from humble churches to packed stage shows for a broad diversity of music lovers increasing the demand for his performances each time.
LoneSoulJAH's 1st solo project "The Burden of Knowledge", A hybrid of Hip-Hop, Reggae, Gospel and R&B is now near completion. The album is set to be released by the newly formed NEW GENRE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP record label in early 2009. With this incredible compilation, LoneSoulJAH is poised to take an unsuspecting music world by storm! The charismatic, uncompromising performer credits GOD for his gifts and has no plans on taking them for granted…

Going For Adds ... NOW!!!
Year Of Release: 2008
Format(s): Hip Hop
General Info:
The parable of Don’t Think About it unveiled:
The inspiration of this song came directly from the Apostle Paul. He tells us in God’s Word (1 Timothy 6:12)
That we need to Fight the good fight of the faith... No matter how much pressure we may feel from this world, or how many times we get knocked down, we need to get back up always! To press on toward the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
I love to write songs in parable form, Jesus did that same form of storytelling and it’s just so creative. Plus it makes the listener want to dig deeper and find out what it’s really all about. I added boxing and ultimate fighting references into the song, to make it relatable and to add some fun creativity. The main message you will find in this song, is the Spiritual aspect of never giving up on what God has called us to do!
Album Info:
With a # 1 radio single already under his belt, Relikis drops his last single off Soulja City. New album due out Sep 08!
Lyrics:
Round One; Stepping into the ring, but I ain\'t flashy like the prince with the Bling/ Warming up with a smile, I\'m gonna get the job done/ If you don\'t want a beating you best get up and run/ But nah, I\'m saying for real I\'m a Soulja at war/ Vegas got money and boxing, running thru stores/ Atlantic City baby, get your boom box ready/ If you really want to battle, you best done get ready/ Blue and black, black and blue they come/ The iced out patches, only the raw type ones/ So if you gonna bet, bet on the A plus team/ One count, two count, one more makes three/ My prediction is, the KO\'d knockout punch/ If you hear a big snap, that\'s your jaw going crunch/ Boom, Right hook left uppercut to the chin/ You seem them dropping to the floor you know who\'s gonna win/
Don't Think About It, Don't Even Think About It/
My crew will win and I don't doubt it/
The A-Team is back in the building/
Make noise everybody, yeah ya feel me/
Round two; So now what you gonna do/
Step to me, that\'s like stepping the boundaries/
My partners say that I got hits like Sonny Liston/
If this opinion is true, you must be listening/
Shuckin\' and jivin\' I\'m jivin\' shuckin\' fakin\' them out/
One hit to the dome, and then they bent their lights out/
Fed off of corn, was the Real Deal Holyfield/
If you see the fist coming, get your eye chilled/
But if you get knocked down, don\'t be a punk get up/
You gotta gotta keep pressing on, gotta suck it up/
Now you know that when I fight, I fight to win/
And If I focusing on all the thin talk, forget my pen/
You a lightweight, middleweight, heavierweight/
You got to throw a couple jabs, because this here is your fate/
One thing I know is my crew get stacks/
And I'ma fight this good fight, in this title match/
Round Three; Now who\'s it gonna be/
Lennox Lewis? Or Muhammad Ali/
Who is the real undisputed king of the ring/
Who is the real unbeaten Champ, King of All Things/
I'll take a poll then coast to coast/
But I ain't about to rate it on boasting most/
You talk the talk, can you walk the walk/
And Im gonna place all my W's on a board with chalk/
Give me a towel, for blood, sweat, and tears/
A debut right now, but beyond my years/
Its like, guts to glory or Robert to Horry/
Being the all time king that's the end of the story/
You ought to know tight Honor bound man/
Closed fist in my hand, and thank God for my fans/
I got the will power to ignite the crowd/
Listen close from round one, all the way up until now/
