"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 Corinthians 15:55
The Boy Who Shed His Skin You know it’s just a bloody nuisance Said the boy who shed his skin Another lessen to be learned You know we all die in the end
So you’d better just get on, then Said a man just half my size Not time to set and cry about it No place for you to run and hide
Cut these ties that hold me down That’s the only way to begin You can drop my weary bones in the ground Said the boy who shed his skin
Well, you know it’s been quite painful Year to year and week to week He bruises with the slightest touch Even a kiss a upon the cheek
I’ve seen him with the Lords and ladies They can’t resist his boyish charm And even with his loving mother As she rocked him in her arms
Cut these ties that hold me down That’s the only way to begin You can drop my weary bones in the ground Said the boy who shed his skin
Soon I’ll be flying home So far from all the pain that I have known Soon I’ll be flying home And now it’s clear to me the time has come to go
Cut these ties that hold me down That’s the only way to begin You can drop my weary bones in the ground Said the boy who shed his skin
Soon I’ll be flying home So far from all the pain that I have known Soon I’ll be flying home And now it’s clear to me the time has come to go
Soon I’ll be flying home Said the boy who shed his skin Soon I’ll be flying home Said the boy who shed his skin Soon I’ll be flying home Said the boy who shed his skin

For those of you in Nashville you know as well as I do how badly the word needs spread about our disaster here. Most I have talked to outside of our city have only heard of the depths of our destruction via Twitter and Facebook, this is a shame.
Last week I spent 3 full days in Bellevue helping those who have lost everything try to establish themselves on the road to recovery. We removed all of their belongings from what used to be their home, and now is only a grave and a reminder of everything they once had, we gutted their houses – most from floor to ceiling. Removing all carpet, tile, hardwood floors, drywall, door – window frames, appliances, and cabinets. Doing as much as we could to keep mold from settling in and causing the house to be condemned.
The looks on the faces of all those who once lived there is something that will stay with me forever. I could feel the pain as it lingered in their eyes. Shock is definitely still a big part of what keeps them from completely losing it – I think it will be a while before this really sinks in for all of us.
I stood and listened as people told stories of how a couple in the next house died together because they could not get out. They told their own stories of how they were up to their neck in water and panicking to reach the second floor of their home.
Their reality, their nightmare is not being told. Nashville needs you. Nashville needs hope.
Nashville needs to know, and feel, that the sun is coming out.

A poignant song about childhood memories of a God fearing mother who’s gone to be with God. Perfect for Mothers Day specials!
IN MY MOTHER'S HOUSE In my Mother’s house there is a welcoming Though it comes not from a sign above the door In my Mother’s house there is a homecoming For all who’ve made their bed there once before
In my Mother’s house there is a gathering
Of tears and laughter, voices young and old In my Mother’s house there is a history Of Bible Stories, Prayers and Sunday clothes
In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house It won’t be long
In my mother’s house there is a reverence For God and Country, for family and friends
In my mother’s house there is a presence Of grace and mercy, of a love that never ends
In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house It won’t be long
In my mother’s house there is a longing A void that tugs the heart from deep within In my Mother’s house there is a longing A hope of reuniting once again
In my mother’s house there is a welcoming And it does not leave you as you journey on your way And in my mother’s house there is a homecoming For God has come to take her home today
In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house It won’t be long In my Mother’s house In my Mother’s house We’ll sing this song

Born and raised in good ole TEXAS! My mom started dragging me to every revival and gospel meeting since I was a little girl... and that is what stired up my passion for Christ, and for the things of God. I found myself yearning and longing to worship.,. but i wasnt sure how... so i started playing guitar, and God just went to work on my heart and 99% of the songs i have written were out of that "core connection" with christ. His love is amazing and his faithfulness just blows me away! I believe that now more than ever it is time for the church to rise up and fulfill its purpose...and to start off our journey we gotta connect with the Father, and thats through "intamate" worship.
Jeremiah's Mission:
At times I find myself disqualifing me from the callings of God on my life. Sometimes I, like Jeremiah, think who am I? You want me to say what? Hello, Lord do you know who you're talking too?... The Bible says "GREATER is He that is in YOU, than he that is in the WORLD." It simply says, Look I have given you a hope and a future.... chill out I'll tell you what to say...
Artist: Joanne Cash Song: Will The Circle Be Unbroken CD: Gospel Genre: country Label:Ajax Music Group Homepage
With twenty-six historic recordings under her belt, the acclaimed autobiography My Fears Are Gone, continuous concert appearances and lineage to one of music’s most famous families, Joanne Cash has countless tales to tell.
But more than artistic accolades, her slew of collaborations with brother Johnny Cash and having spent several years working at the historic House of Cash hit making factory, the singer/songwriter extraordinaire is driven by a deeper sense of eternal purpose, despite times of trial and seasons of straying.
“My main purpose in this music is to win the lost and uplift the downtrodden, Cash says of her brand new career-spanning compilation Gospel. “I don’t think we have much time left before Christ comes again and I want to be everything I can be for Jesus. I’ve seen so many people try and build their kingdom in music, but I don’t worry about any of that earthly gain. When you let God do it, that’s when the real effectiveness happens.”
On of the last tracks Joanne and Johnny ever recorded together was “Softly and Tenderly,” which is highlighted by Joanne’s sweet disposition and Johnny’s weakening but inspiring voice that signifies a genuine, holy-spirit directed moment.
“I’m amazed that at my age I still want to sing, but it’s like therapy for me,” she summarizes. “I’d say 2003 was one of the hardest years of my life since we lost four family members - our oldest sister Louise, June, Johnny and June’s daughter Rosie- but it’s like a prayer that lifts me up and it rests me when I’m tired. Johnny always helped me remember that and he was constantly encouraging. But there was one short phrase from Johnny that’s always stuck with me and it’s one I’ll continue for as long as I’m here: ‘Baby, just keep on singing!’”

Artist: Jim Drew Song: Will The Circle Be Unbroken CD: ReVisiting Hymn Genre: country Label:Ground Sound Records Homepage
I believe that some of us are made as artists to go where the preachers and lecturers cannot. The speakers and motivators in our lives may bluntly deal with things while artists tend to poke their hearts into places where people need to feel and see, but don't always know how to find.
I really love to do what any artist would, should, must, which includes the danger of wearing my heart on mysleeve. I've just found that it breathes better there. My passion is to reveal things in a way that is emotional, thought provoking and available to all, hopefully giving a sense of purpose to the moment and then to the possibilities. We all need to hear and see things in different....perceptions, senses, ways and avenues. This music goes to a different part of the soul. What I work for in any venue is allowing us to do art together; creating a living, breathing chapter on our page together. This is a time and place of experiencing some of life's facets; as many as that time allows.
Sipping coffee at a corner java shop, going to a concert or hanging out on the streets, we share our experiences and faiths by telling stories. By using music and a creative atmosphere we can all relate to, we get to laugh and think about "stuff". Though the music may cry out with a loud and off-beat voice, there is a gentle brush, a Creator's caring whisper that comes through.
