Since November of 2006, AWAIT THE DAY has been on a journey of faith as they continue to write, record and play live with momentum that is unexplained. Originally asked to lead worship at a men’s retreat, they soon found out that God had more in mind than just a one time event.
After this particular weekend they felt that there was more to come than the occasional weekend event, beginning a long road of rehearsing every week and writing original songs that seem to just keep coming. Currently in the studio working on their debut EP “Beginnings” the future looks bright.
The opportunities continue to present themselves to this band as they keep their hearts and minds open to this calling of music. AWAIT THE DAY is a band driven and motivated to share the word with every breath. They continue to press on into the unknown with new music all the time as they work their way to the top. This is not your average rock band.
These guys continue to move forward always staying positive in any situation. There is emotion, feeling, songs that inspire and songs that relate to anyone that may share in the everyday struggle we call life. There is no real formula to the writing style, no one exclusive way these songs are created. The only constant in this band is that their music never stops evolving, always improving and growing.
AWAIT THE DAY is not just looking for that hit song to make it "big". There is meaning and hope behind every lyric, a message to be shared in every song and a passion for Jesus Christ that will not be replaced by fame or anything this world has to offer. "One of my favorite lyrics (I don't belong here) is from the band Switchfoot," says singer Ben Fontenot. "That is the most powerful statement I think I've ever heard...its so true". "We are here to make a difference but we are not here to stay".
The band feels that they have been called to serve a higher purpose than just playing music in the garage or having a good show at some bar. They believe that what they say and do in this life directly affects theirs' and others' salvation. On a journey to save, with edgy guitar licks and melodic ballads as their tools, they inspire the crowd as well as draw them into their world of songs.

Lyrics: So I've decided, I'm gonna believe like a child.
Just like them all the while, still carrying my grown up smile.
Cause I can't help this feeling that I get when I,
Look beyond my own two eyes and see my courage come alive.
I love the miracles, oil, fire, gold dust, gemstones and rainbows.
I love the wonders and signs, the glory, the laughter, the joy, the new wine!
Faith is being sure of what we hope for, certain of the things unseen.
But to believe, just like this little mustard seed, that I can be a big tree.
I want to be the one who walks on water.
To believe is just the least I can do to please my Father.
So I've decided, I can't convince you to believe in,
All the crazy, amazing things I\'ve been seeing.
But if you only, knew just how big His love is for ya,
There's nothing your eyes could show ya,
That could compare to what's in store.
Chorus
I wanna see a mountain move, just cause I told it to.
I wanna see my bread and fish be multiplied too.
Or build an arch like Noah, who never saw the rain.
Split the sea in two or bring a dead man back to life again.
And for the blind, I want restored sight.
And I'm feeling just fine giving my water for wine.
Cause I want to be the one who walks on water!
Chorus

GOING FOR IMMEDIATE ADDS!!!
THIS IS HUGE!
The Trust Project brings a fresh and creative sound to a music scene in need of originality. They'll grab your attention right off the bat, with their melodic vocal hooks, and hold it throughout with intriguing rhythmic patterns. As you bob your head and sing along, you'll find it easy to relate to the real-life issues portrayed in their songs.
Tim portays it this way, "We are not content to just copy whatever is popular at the moment. We want to bring our own style into our music. Our songs portray who we are and what we go through, both musically and lyrically. As a group and in our personal lives, we are trying to be real with ourselves and with God. Society tends to shy away from hurt and cover it up with things that only offer a temporary fix. So we bring this venture into our songs. We sing about our own personal struggles and triumphs. We hope our openness will encourage others to be honest with themselves and allow them to face their own struggles."
The Trust Project has already achieved radio airplay across the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and South America. Look for more good things to come from this group in the years to come.

Well let me see...
I am a suburban Nashville resident, though a transplant from the great state of Michigan (no Appalachian State comments please). I, like every other Nashville transplant, am a singer/songwriter who once had a dream. I still have a dream, only a different one. More importantly, I am a husband and a father. I am deeply Christian, but I don't speak the language.
I'm not particularly fond of vegetables. My favorite authors are Anne Lamott and C.S. Lewis. I do not like hunting, fishing, or winter. I do not like lakes, but I love the ocean. Not the beach, mind you, just the ocean. I am annoyed by people who flick their cigarette butts out the window of their car and onto the streets where we all must live together; but I am not confrontational so I never say anything.
U2 is the best band ever. The worst is probably Firehouse. I read Motor Trend magazine every month but do not have a subscription. I am hopeful. I try to do the right thing, but often fail. I can't figure God out. I probably do not try hard enough.
I watch golf on television. I want everyone to like me. I often apologize even though I am right. I love quotes. Eleanor Roosevelt once said "Do one thing each day that scares you..." An example of that for me would be trusting God to catch me when I jump. I'm currently staring over the edge... See you soon.

I believe that music speaks to people in ways that mere words cannot. Somehow it breaks through walls and barriers, and reaches down into a person's core. What an awesome tool we have been given to share the Love and Good News of our Lord. Originally created by God, I believe that music should above all be used to praise and glorify Him. "I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.Ps.108:3)
Song note:
Suffering can be a blessing in so many ways. Sometimes, I find God's grace almost painful to endure... especially in the light of how undeserving I am of it. He does so many wonderful things for us - in spite of ourselves - but it makes those blessings that much more powerful. Can we really fully experience beauty and joy without a solid dose of the sad and tragic? Even though, like anyone else, some of my trials and experiences have been horrible... I can't honestly say now, in the light of His redemption, that I regret enduring through them. We were made to suffer... if only to make the hope of Heaven that much sweeter.
Lyrics:
With a moon half-empty
and a sky that's gone to waste
and the twilight offers cold embrace
the amber of autumn fades
and the greys of summer's mistakes
and the dreams we try to replicate...
they fall away
isn't this world something wonderful
that we were made to suffer both it's honesty and cruelty?
today
with a heart half-empty
and a light I've yet to see
and the sadness takes ahold of me
and fire-white burns like...
agony.
entropy.
we all fall apart
to the cadence of our bleeding hearts
they fall away
isn't this world something wonderful
that we were made to suffer both it's majesty and cruelty?
they fall away...
and is grace not something beautiful that we were made to suffer?
the lucid touch of clemency.
and our tears become a sanctuary we are made to suffer
with tenderness and empathy.
we are made to suffer.

The “air five” is undoubtedly one of the most underrated of all positive gestures. Contrary to the ever so popular “high five” the “air five” has freedom. It can be done from opposite ends of hallways, across gymnasiums and large rooms. An “air five” meets people where they are. As a matter of fact, when looked at in the correct light, “air five,” the gesture and AIR 5, the band, are a lot alike.
Hailing from small town Greenbrier, TN, Air 5 is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Ben Peeples, bassist/vocalist Michael Segarra and drummer John Benbow. The band signed with management company Prodigal Son Entertainment opening the door for performances alongside some of music’s hottest up-and-coming artists, among them Day of Fire, Krystal Meyers, Eleventyseven and Last Tuesday. By late 2006 the trio inked a multi-album deal with Indie label Audio Frenzy Records with national distribution through Infinity Music Distribution/Central South.
“We love punk rock music, and we want to use it to reach people” states Peeples. “See-- our music isn’t all about God…it is really music about life from a Christian perspective. I think a lot of people relate to that. We are all Christian guys but we don’t feel like it’s our calling to preach at people. We simply want to be light to anyone who doesn’t know Jesus.”
Air 5’s fresh approach to both music and ministry is evident as their music journeys through a deluge of human emotion. From conquering the shackles of hopelessness in “Hold My Hand” to surrendering yourself to God’s will in “Write My Story,” to the powerful declaration of “Here’s Me Letting Go,” the band delivers infectious harmonies alongside a rock infused pop bounce, akin to bands like Relient K, Blink 182 and New Found Glory, while carefully establishing their own identity in today’s crowded music scene.
“We are not concerned with fitting a mold and we aren’t offended by comparisons to other bands,” says Peeples boldly. “We are simply doing what we love, and trying our best to stay in the center of God’s will. Nothing else really matters.”
Soon after signing with Audio Frenzy, the band entered producer Barry Blair’s (Audio Adrenaline, Tinman Jones, Candlefuse) studio to record their debut album, Write My Story. “Barry really has a gift for bringing a song to life,” Peeple’s recalls. “Working with him was an absolute blast and we can’t wait to do it again.” Additionally, the band’s debut was mixed and mastered by Grammy and Dove “Producer of the Year” nominee Brian Hardin, known for his work with artists from Manic Drive, Jill Parr, FFH to Nouveaux and These 5 Down among others.
“We really believe in Write My Story and its potential to connect with people from all walks fo life,” offers Peeles intimately, continuing on, “When people listen to our album, I hope they have fun, cry, laugh, and relate. We hope it speaks to them in whatever way they need it to.”
Much like the “air five” gesture, this is a band that is about meeting people where they are. Air 5 is not about posturing or preaching, they are here to provide positive encouragement to a generation that has been beaten down by life. Air 5 strives to be light in a dark place. Is there any greater calling?
“Write My Story” will be available at stores nationally starting May 29th and at live shows and online late April. AIR 5 can provide sound/lights/engineer for shows for an additional fee. Be their friends at myspace and shoutlife!

Artist: Christopher Julian Song: Choose Christ CD: Love Is A Better Way Genre: chr Label:Independent Homepage
When I first meet Chris Julian the first thing that stood out was his smile. The Joy of the Lord is prominent in his life, his ministry, and especially his music. Maybe in part his being born in the Englewood section of Chicago, Ill and his commitment to follow Christ have helped to build his joyful character. Whether serving the Lord at Truth Triumphant Ministries as a Sunday School teacher, Minister of Music, or Youth Choir Leader brought the joy blessing or serving in the Cabrini Green Housing Projects as a missionary his countenance of joy shines bright through God’s Spirit.
He has helped to plant churches and served as a worship leader with many organizations such as Awana International, CCDA Conference, Youth For Christ, Moody Bible Institute, Pacific Garden Missions, Kids Across America, the Armed Service in Hawaii, Sports World Ministries, Men At The Cross, and a host of churches through out the U.S. Christopher has also shared the stage with such great artists as Heather Hedley, Michael W Smith, and Stephen Curtis Chapman.
Julian’s legacy of Joy also pours out from his three beautiful adopted children, Raymond, Jaquita, and Lavetta. I have two children of my own and know the hardship of parenting but Christopher still in the bachelorhood of life felt God’s tug and took on the responsibility and joy of being a father.
His music transcends this joyful spirit. Lyrics like “Since I found you I don’t want to let you go” show his fervent heart yearning to bask in the love of the Lord. I urge all of you to take the time to get to know this amazing new artist who’s music will make your heart soar with the love of God.

“I want the message of love to spread around the globe through the ministry God has given me. I’ve learned that “Love” is an action word, and feel God has called me to challenge myself and the Body of Christ to Walk it, Live it and Show it to a world that desperately needs it!”
