Name: Chris Carder
I sing and play acoustic guitars, bass, keyboards, harmonica and I can whistle circles around ‘bout anyone!
Instrument: 1999 Taylor 714 CE is my main ‘gig’. I usually play through a Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner and a SIB Fat Drive pre-amp.
Testimony:
Just out of high school, I got involved in a youth group at the First Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia. I saw a group of kids there that loved God and really lived it out by loving one another. Their example spoke volumes to me and in the Spring I gave my life to Jesus. I have moved away from the Smyrna area, to Louisville, Kentucky, but still have great memories of those special days while at the same time remembering that the best days lie ahead for those who trust Christ’s finished work on the cross. As I peer in the rear view mirror of my life, I can see many key times when God was sowing His Truth in me. I always believed the Christmas Story of the birth of the Savior. I never doubted the truth of a Risen Savior as the Easter story unfolded. But it was not until that February Wednesday night, after seeing a glimpse of Jesus' love through the Smyrna youth, that everything seemed to make sense and I realized I had to make a commitment with ‘all of me’ publicly and unashamedly, as Jesus had done for me on the cross.
When I am home: I am surrounded by beautiful women, starting with my wonderful wife, Leslie. We have been married 8 awesome years and been blessed with two girls. Elena is two years old, has a sweet heart although she can be tough as nails. Keely was born on March 27. 2006 and is the happiest toddler I have ever seen or been around. We live in a couple of doors down from Leslie’s school, Fern Creek High. Musical Influences: Third Day, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Bill Mallonee and the Vigilantes of Love, John Cougar Mellencamp, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sting, Michael Jackson, James Taylor, Russ Taff, Johnny Cash, Dan Fogelberg, Eagles, Keith Green, and many more.
Currently Reading: John, 1 Peter, and Proverbs. Also, Revolution in World Missions by K.P. Yohannan.
Passions: Jesus, The One and Only. There is none who compares to Him. My Family. I love leading worship at Missionary Conferences, whether it is Indonesia, South America, Africa….I will go anywhere God provides to encourage those who are on the front lines. Getting my new songs to the masses.
Putting in my ear: Third Day: Wherever You Are, Switchfoot: Nothing is Sound, Aaron Shust: Anything Worth Saying, Passion: Everything Glorious, The Phil Wing Band: True Light.
Putting in my eyes: Jeopardy, Lost, Andy Griffith (Never....never gets old).
Favorite Movies: Braveheart, It’s a Wonderful Life, The Patriot, Gladiator, National Treasure.

GOING FOR IMMEDIATE ADDS!!!
THIS IS HUGE!
The Trust Project brings a fresh and creative sound to a music scene in need of originality. They'll grab your attention right off the bat, with their melodic vocal hooks, and hold it throughout with intriguing rhythmic patterns. As you bob your head and sing along, you'll find it easy to relate to the real-life issues portrayed in their songs.
Tim portays it this way, "We are not content to just copy whatever is popular at the moment. We want to bring our own style into our music. Our songs portray who we are and what we go through, both musically and lyrically. As a group and in our personal lives, we are trying to be real with ourselves and with God. Society tends to shy away from hurt and cover it up with things that only offer a temporary fix. So we bring this venture into our songs. We sing about our own personal struggles and triumphs. We hope our openness will encourage others to be honest with themselves and allow them to face their own struggles."
The Trust Project has already achieved radio airplay across the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and South America. Look for more good things to come from this group in the years to come.

Artist: Christopher Julian Song: Name of the Lord CD: Love Is A Better Way Genre: inspo Label:Independent Homepage
When I first meet Chris Julian the first thing that stood out was his smile. The Joy of the Lord is prominent in his life, his ministry, and especially his music. Maybe in part his being born in the Englewood section of Chicago, Ill and his commitment to follow Christ have helped to build his joyful character. Whether serving the Lord at Truth Triumphant Ministries as a Sunday School teacher, Minister of Music, or Youth Choir Leader brought the joy blessing or serving in the Cabrini Green Housing Projects as a missionary his countenance of joy shines bright through God’s Spirit.
He has helped to plant churches and served as a worship leader with many organizations such as Awana International, CCDA Conference, Youth For Christ, Moody Bible Institute, Pacific Garden Missions, Kids Across America, the Armed Service in Hawaii, Sports World Ministries, Men At The Cross, and a host of churches through out the U.S. Christopher has also shared the stage with such great artists as Heather Hedley, Michael W Smith, and Stephen Curtis Chapman.
Julian’s legacy of Joy also pours out from his three beautiful adopted children, Raymond, Jaquita, and Lavetta. I have two children of my own and know the hardship of parenting but Christopher still in the bachelorhood of life felt God’s tug and took on the responsibility and joy of being a father.
His music transcends this joyful spirit. Lyrics like “Since I found you I don’t want to let you go” show his fervent heart yearning to bask in the love of the Lord. I urge all of you to take the time to get to know this amazing new artist who’s music will make your heart soar with the love of God.

BEN OKAFOR is a man of God ... created to share his evocative voice not to only ENTERTAIN ... but to EDUCATE and INSPIRE people all over the world.
In the past 25 years, Ben has raised social consciousness through his music by sharing his own history and testimony as a child soldier. His global reputation encapsulates Ben's ability to challenge and empower people to use their intellect, in conjunction with their artistic skills in order to better express their opinions on global issues peacefully and effectively.
I am very blessed to be able to offer to you the genius that I know as Ben Okafor! I feel very much like the disciples must have felt when they went out with the Good News ... bringing an alternative way of life to people that so desperately needed a new source of refreshment!
Ben is an internationally-acclaimed progressive, African Reggae/World-beat artist, yet ... I have made a decision to label all of Ben's music ... "alternative" because in my heart ... his message, his heart, his musical genius is an alternative to everything else! There is a profound simplicity and immeasureable depth to his lyrics that must be savored ... and I am blessed to share the Good News of Ben Okafor with you ...

As a Christian musician, it's tough to think of anything more fulfilling than leading worship. Playing music is extremely satisfying, but playing to bring people into God's presence is an absolute rush! Yet there is something about it that concerns me at the same time, and that is... SELF.
Pride is one of the biggest stumbling blocks for musicians, and ego mixed into leading worship yields nothing but failure in the worship experience. This truth has had a profound impact on my prayer life since I've been a worship leader.
I pray continually for His anointing on me, but even more fervently, I am forever pleading with Him to make me invisible while I lead. I want people to walk out of the sanctuary thinking of Jesus alone, visualizing HIS face, remembering HIS voice speaking to us, calling us, singing over us.
The same goes for the music itself. If a song causes us to first glorify a songwriter, its real value is limited. But if it can facilitate genuine praise of the Creator, it's a useful tool. My goal in songwriting is to generate excitement about the Savior, not the song.
I want people to see something about Him they've never before seen, or give them a chance to sing something they've perhaps thought, but never before sung. Even more importantly, I want the song to bring the singer closer to the Creator. He alone is why we sing........ cn

Artist: Mary-Kathryn Song: Incense of Praise RADIO EDIT CD: Dreams & Visions Genre: inspo Label:Rhythm House Records Homepage
Mary-Kathryn, known for creating strongly sacred and spiritual vocal music, dreams of world unity and has visions of all humankind fully-accepting each other’s traditions, languages and religious beliefs. Thus the title of her fourth album, Dreams & Visions, encourages everyone to have faith in the future.
“People need to appreciate everyone else and understand that diverse cultures and a different heritage makes our world a much more colorful and interesting place,” says Mary-Kathryn. “No one should have to hide their beliefs or apologize for who they are. We might even find common goals such as pushing for peace or caring for the planet. We are all on a spiritual journey and should respect each other.”
Mary-Kathryn is a unique voice. She is one of today’s few musical artists to sing deeply spiritual lyrics over a world music-influenced sound that also includes elements of world music and adult pop. Mary-Kathryn has built a loyal following that appreciates her gentle yet passionate vocals, the mysticism of her music and the prophetic nature of her lyrics which have a broad-based sacredness to them.
On the Dreams & Visions project, Mary-Kathrynblends elements of soft pop, rock and folk with world music influences as diverse as the continents to create a spiritual amalgam that transcends musical boundaries and she delves even deeper into the world music realm, painting word pictures on an aural canvas with exotic instrumentation, adroit production, and lyrics that are God-inspired. But as Billboard Magazine’s reviewer so aptly put it, “the most affecting instrument…is Mary-Kathryn’s lovely voice.”

Immersed in music since birth, Belinda was blessed with a fulltime music coach. Her father, Cecil Milligan, was a minister of music, songwriter and lead singer in a southern gospel quartet. "I remember as a small child standing on the kitchen table (or anything that would serve as a stage) singing for my parents, family and friends," recalls Belinda. "I still love the stage and seeing the smiles on the faces in the audience." Since those early days of singing for family, friends and traveling around with her father's quartet, Belinda's music has varied tremendously.
Always with a sincere desire to honor her Heavenly Father, Belinda embarks on a new adventure in His service with her debut CD "The Heart of God". First a daughter, then a mother, but always a performer, she knew it was God's timing not hers that lead her to this decision. After much prayer and searching and with a full sense that God was in control, Belinda teamed up with Creative Soul Records in Nashville. The result is an eclectic mix of eight original songs and two remakes of classic hymns all written and arranged by Belinda Jane and producer Eric Copeland. Copeland says, "We focus producing great songs with the top musicians, studios, and multimedia folks in the Christian music industry here in Nashville. Because of this, our artists are getting attention on the National and International stage. Belinda Jane has a quality and a sound that is truly anointed…and a heart for God to match."
"My goal was to share the heart of God through my songs, " says Belinda, "Wherever the Lord leads, I'll follow. He is the Author of the Song."
Artist: Jonathan Phillips Song: I Can Do CD: Live To Worship Genre: inspo Label:Arrow Records Homepage
Jonathan Phillips began his music career while attending Kelsey Avenue Middle School in Griffin, Georgia. It was there he realized he had been given a gift and a talent for music. He began singing at different school events and soon became known around the city for his vocal talent and musical ability.
By the 12th grade, he decided to accept his calling as a music minister and worship leader. In February 2004, Jonathan began attending Harvest Temple Church in Griffin, Georgia. At that time, the church was looking for a youth worship leader and Jonathan took advantage of the opportunity to use his gift for God. The word began to spread quickly about this soulful singer and he began to book dates to perform at many events across the state.
Since that time, Jonathan’s ministry has grown to national status. He and his band tour the country regularly leading people in worship and, most importantly, leading them to Christ. In December 2006, Jonathan officially became a part of the Arrow Records family. As the label’s newest artist, Jonathan’s unique worship style will be showcased during CHANGE conventions across the nation. His first album on the Arrow Records label is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2008.
“No matter how big your problems, no matter what your circumstances may be, always know that you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you,” Jonathan says. “Our goal is to lead people into the very presence of God through music and worship so they will be able to overcome any obstacle that will come their way.”

I believe that music speaks to people in ways that mere words cannot. Somehow it breaks through walls and barriers, and reaches down into a person's core. What an awesome tool we have been given to share the Love and Good News of our Lord.
Originally created by God, I believe that music should above all be used to praise and glorify Him. "I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.Ps.108:3)
