HOMESTEAD “MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS”
Bio: In the east side of Austin, Texas there sits a lonely house in the midst of the inner city with the name “Radcliff Manor” where Homestead creatively conjures new song ideas to bring to their loyal friends and fans.
Homestead consists of four young men by the names of Matthew Brue, Hunter Sprague, Chris Munoz, and Zach Selindh who share a common heart of seeing hardships brought into the light. Established in the year 2012, frontman Matthew Brue envisioned creating songs that would portray the hardships of addiction and the struggles of lonely people who are grasping on to the little time on earth that they have left.
With their heart wrenching lyrics and melodies that sway listeners to tears and untapped emotions, Homestead is striving for an awakening of mindsets regarding the desperate need people have for help. This pertains to communities, addictions, and grief revolving around all aspects of personal trials.
We are all sons, we are all brothers, and we are all family. We are Homestead.

Artist: Mindy Smith Song: Silver Bells CD: My Holiday Genre: christmas Label:Vanguard Records Homepage
Mindy Smith has fond memories of the holiday season from growing up on Long Island.
Her dad taking the family into New York City to go window shopping and meet Santa Claus at Macy’s. Her mom making fresh cinnamon rolls from scratch. Singing along with a favorite album by John Denver and the Muppets. And the endless hours waiting until Christmas morning when the kids could jump on their parents’ bed and start the festivities.
“I don’t really remember a lot of the gifts that I got,” Smith says. “What I remember is the family experience, and how much fun we had. I remember at the end of the day, just being worn out from all the excitement and anticipation.”
It’s this sense of nostalgia, simple joy and togetherness that Smith brings to her first Christmas album, My Holiday. A collection of eleven gentle, acoustic-driven originals and standards, it’s infused with warmth that mixes classic Currier and Ives charm with a youthful glow and twinkle.
“With this record, I’m not trying to put out a message of any kind, other than Christmas is fun and to appreciate the things that you have,” the singer-songwriter says. “I think Christmas is about expressing gratitude to people and saying, ‘I’m thankful that you’re in my life.’
“As for the sound of the record, I just wanted to keep true to what I do musically, and incorporate some old jazz standards, because I really enjoy singing that style of music. I think the songs all fell together naturally. I like it, because it’s not the usual Christmas sound.”
As with her previous highly acclaimed albums – One Moment More (2004) and Long Island Shores (2006) – what immediately lifts My Holiday above the usual is Smith’s voice. Delicate and clear as blown glass, and tinged with a kind of blue yearning, it’s the kind of voice that communicates directly to the heart. And then there’s the songwriting. Working by herself and with notable country artists Chely Wright and Thad Cockrell - on winsome songs such as “My Holiday,” “Follow The Shepherd Home” and the lump-in-the-throat “Santa Will Find You” - Smith delivers the same sense of purpose and craft that once moved Dolly Parton to say, “Mindy will leave her mark as one of our greatest writers and singers ever.”
“When you sit down to write a Christmas song,” Smith says, “you have to think about how you feel at Christmas, and what it is about the holiday season that moves you. It’s a different thought process than just writing a song about life in general.
“I think there are certain note selections and chord progressions that can make a new Christmas song familiar. I think that happened with the songwriting process on this album, in that there were a lot of familiar musical choices. It wasn’t intentional. It’s just where I naturally went to with these notes and words. Then bringing something a little new to the table. I think all of those elements come together in a Christmas song.”
She also brings her own open-eyed take to a handful of seasonal standards, like “Silver Bells,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” and “The Christmas Song” with an understated charm that makes them glisten anew.
“I’ve never sung any of the standards before,” Smith confesses. “I didn’t want to stray too far from the style of music that they are. I think the feel for those kinds of songs needs to be spontaneous, in order to interpret them in a new way. So we just got in there and had a good time and let the songs breathe.”
That really gets at the heart of what My Holiday is about. A fresh take on the feelings of the Christmas season. Tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future, wrapped in a sense of peace and goodwill, and wreathed with smiles.
Recorded in Nashville and co-produced by Smith with Steve Buckingham, My Holiday features drummer Eddie Bayers, bassist Michael Rhodes and guitarist Kenny Vaughan as well as Smith’s longtime musical associate, Lex Price, on mandola. There are also special vocal cameos by Chely Wright, Thad Cockrell and on the hushed and beautiful “Away In the Manger,” Alison Krauss (“That was amazing for me - she’s one of my heroes,” Smith gushes). “I hope people find it fun to listen to,” Smith reflects. “It sure was fun to make. I think rather than a Christmas record, it’s more of a holiday record, and it can reach anybody who celebrates the holidays. It embraces the season.”

Lyrics:
I took a walk around the world to see Your promised sign I left my buddies laughin' somewhere in the sand behind I watch the world glow to the dark light of the moon I see another light in view I walk the world but to a star's light not the moon After all I knew it had to be something to do with You I really don't mind not havin' my old friends As long as You'll meet me in Bethlehem If I'm a crazy man, well, You still called me through the sand If I'm a wise man, well, then You prepared the gold in my hand I'll keep Your light in sight, with my search for You, it\'s like Christmas night You called me strongly from the East But still, Lord Jesus, I\'m no king You took this planet by surprise whenever You came down You stunned all them in Bethlehem I caught Your beacon to these men I picked it up and took my map and started out CHORUS

Artist: Susan Gray Song: Angels We Have Heard CD: Fireside Genre: christmas Label:Independent Homepage
Susan Gray takes Christmas 'Fireside' with new CD!
“I named the album Fireside because these are songs that make you want to curl up next to the fire. They are songs that bring peace.”
Susan Gray’s Fireside is a collection of Christmas classics and worship songs focused on the peace and comfort brought by the birth of Jesus.
“There are hundreds of people around the country who are losing jobs and homes and their Christmas might be a time of tension,” Gray said. “I hope that, when they listen to the CD, people will be able to curl up by the Fireside and find peace in Jesus.”
Susan Gray is a singer/songwriter based in Houston who was raised in the foster-care system. She dedicates her time and talent to help orphan and foster children with Buckner International, a vast organization founded in 1879 with the purpose of caring for widows and orphans based on the New Testament mandate of Jesus Christ. For nearly 130 years, Buckner has cared for the diversified needs of those Jesus called “the least of these.”
“The Christmas before my mother died, I got to sing my first solo with her in the audience,” she said. “And even though I knew that it might be the last Christmas I would spend with her, there was this tremendous peace. The idea behind this CD was to recreate that same atmosphere for those who need it.”
SUSAN is available to do ON-AIR interviews ... ID tags & liners! She would love sharing her heart with your listeners this Christmas season!

Grave Robber “You‘re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”
This unique ministry was predetermined in the mind of The Reanimator at The Void. Grave Robber was unleashed upon an unsuspecting, pre-apocalyptic Earth, A.D. 2005 and has toured consistently since 2005. Grave Robber is a theatrical, shock rock/horror band that appeals to fans of The Misfits, Alice Cooper, Type O Negative, Gwar, Kiss, Danzig, and Rob Zombie. Audience members find themselves feeling as though they are strolling in familiar musical history, yet simultaneously wading through a dense mire of uncharted territory. There is nothing as terrifying as the unknown. Grave Robber can hold your hand on a decidedly horrifying romp, leading you safely to the other side.
GRAVE ROBBER ARE : WRETCHED - vokills, shovel CARCASS - bass, vokills LAMENTOR - guitar, vokills PLAGUE - smash doom tub WE'VE SPLATTERED THE STAGE WITH : The Autumn Offering, Blitzkid, Bobaflex, Calabrese, Deguello (ex-Fabulous Thunderbirds), Dope, Dr. Chud's X-Ward (ex-Misfits), Firstjason (feat, Ari Lehman of Friday The 13th fame), Gorgeous Frankenstein (Ex-Misfits, Blitzkid), Impaler, Jacob's Dream, The Independents, Mensrea (feat. Gwar members), Michale Graves (ex-Misfits), Mobile Deathcamp (ex-Gwar), Murphy's Law, The Undead, and only the coolest of bands too numerous to list here!
GRAVE ROBBER MISSION STATEMENT : There is a segment of our society that loves punk rock and horror. Aptly, This subculture is known as “horror punk”. By and large, this subculture shuns Christianity due to what is viewed as hypocrisy in a religion that touts truth and love. GRAVE ROBBER speaks to this subculture in their own language, in the same way that the apostle Paul did with the philosophers at Mars Hill in Athens. Their worldviews were skewed and Paul brought them the gospel by using their own poetry and artwork.
GRAVE ROBBER does the same thing. All imagery and visuals have significance. The skull logo with mouth sewn shut symbolizes death finally being silenced by Christ. The brown and red paint on the costumes symbolizes the blood of Christ covering our “dirt” or sin. The zombie-like masks symbolize our earthy flesh, or our sin nature, which is daily fading away as we push into our Savior. The shovel symbolically represents Jesus, who is The Father's "tool" to remove the dead in their transgressions, saving us from the eternal grave. The name,
GRAVE ROBBER holds a symbolic meaning by referencing Jesus’ return as the true grave robber, when as Christ followers we will be “raised as incorruptible, and we shall be changed” and “Death is swallowed up in victory”. (1 Cor. 15:52, 54) While in church one evening, the message of Romans 6:11, which instructs to ”reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God yet alive in Christ” was preached prior to communion. The concept of being “dead” to sin and symbolically eating the flesh and drinking the blood, coupled with a passion to reach a people who are largely ignored by the church, sparked a flame in the hearts of the members of GRAVE ROBBER to begin this unique ministry.

Lyrics : You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch Lyrics : by Dr. Seuss, Music by Albert Hague Publisher : EMI ROBBINS CATALOG INC, 1966 Grave Robber - SESAC
You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch You really are a heel. You're as cuddly as a cactus, And as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch! You're a bad banana, With a greasy black peel! You're a monster, Mr. Grinch! Your heart's an empty hole. Your brain is full of spiders. You've got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch! I wouldn't touch you With a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole! You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch! You have termites in your smile. You have all the tender sweetness Of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch! Given the choice between the two of you, I'd take the seasick crocodile! You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch! You're a nasty, wasty skunk! Your heart is full of unwashed socks. Your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch! The three words that best describe you Are as follows, and I quote, "Stink, stank, stunk!" You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch! You're the king of sinful sots! Your heart's a dead tomato, Splotched with moldy, purple spots, Mr. Grinch! Your soul is an apalling dump-heap, Overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable rubbish imaginable, Mangled-up in tangled-up knots! You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch! With a nauseous super naus! You're a crooked jerky jockey, And you drive a crooked hoss, Mr. Grinch! You're a three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich, With arsenic sauce!

Through his work, he helped transform Christian hard rock from a handful of bands to a mainstream musical genre. The brotherhood had endured, and the two brothers had together achieved considerable artistic and commercial success. Elefante realized, though, that he was still a songwriter at heart. And that the ultimate measure of his career was sharing the joy of his faith; one that moved, sustained, and inspired him. Merry Christmas!!
