The crew CSG'z (Christ Side G'z) from Vicksburg, Mississippi is founded in March 1997, after Edmonton Monroe also known as Young Flame introduced Amos Pendleton also known as Agape to Christ.

The two connected and began to use their gift of rap. By the year 2000 the CSG'z crew had 6 members.
Albums
In 2002 the band released an album entitled Eternal Life Insurance. The record featured the following CSG'z members: Agape, Young Flame, 180, Nikao', Shepardboy and Dee Prodigal.
Interest
The album caught the attention of Wise Up Records CEO LG Wise. By this time Young Flame, Shepardboy and Dee Prodigal had ventured off to pursue individual ministry visions leaving Agape, 180, and Nikao to continue CSG'z ministry.

Lil Shep joined Agape and Nikao as CSG'z newest member for their 2006 release.
Tribulations : 2006
CSG'z have had their share of trials and tribulation in 2006. Cornielous Anders (also known as Lil Shep) , the newest member of CSG'Z lost his 12 year old son to a tragic accident and not only two weeks later Donald Dee (also known as Nikao) lost his younger brother who was shot three times and died to the street violence that is being portrayed in the culture of Hip Hop today. Through all the trials they have stood fast and held their testimony.
Albums
During the release of Mouf 2 Mic (2005) the crew consisted of Agape and Nikao. The latest addition to the crew is Lil' Shep. In 2006 the album Sophomore : The Authentic Edition is released on Living Entertainment and Adullam House Records.
