Weathered Steel is a positive metal/hardcore show. Our goal is to entertain the masses with the most brutal show without all the satanic crap or vulgarity.

To play music that is uplifting and encouraging. There is more than enough music out there to do this and if you listen to the show you’ll see that it’s true.

Weathered Steel is hosted by Zipdryve. Zipdryve has over 11 years of experience in broadcasting having mentored with Samme Palermo for over 10 years. Over that time of training his desire for the loud music just kept getting stronger and started creeping into the program that he was hosting for Samme. So he stepped out to do what was on his heart, which again is to bring positive loud rock to the world in an intense and entertaining way.

Weathered Steel believes in playing music that is relevant and:

• Has a message of Biblical salvation ... or
• Points to Biblical truths ... or
• Has testimony of the goodness and grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ... or
• Encourages the listener in their faith or walk.

There are varying opinions as to the definition of "Christian" music and the level of responsibility that the artists, labels & radio stations assume in the airing of contemporary Christian music. With this in mind, Weathered Steel does not endorse any artist, group, record label or musical genre by airing their music. Weathered Steel believes that everyone has a responsibility before the Lord to prayerfully seek direction in their musical choices. Weathered Steel believes that anyone that embraces and equips themselves with the Word of God; whether in the form of written word or in music, will grow in an understanding of Christ. Weathered Steel does not adhere to the belief that all artists or bands that record on a "Christian" label should automatically be considered Christians. Contrarily, not all artists or bands that play on secular labels are necessarily non-believers. Weathered Steel believes that a song can contain the Biblical criteria necessary to change a life for Christ. Weathered Steel believes that it is not hinged to who wrote the song; sings the song; who owns the label; or what style of music it takes.
