Ps100 stands for Psalm 100:
"Shout for joy to the Lord , all the earth.
Worship the Lord with Gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with Praise ;
give thanks to Him and PRAISE HIS NAME!
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations."
The musical group Ps100 has been together since the year 2000. Consistently characterized by joyful songs of praise, and moving worshipful ballads, the band has led worship at various events including Lighthouse Christian Camp, RWC Youth conferences, and the Orleans County God's Family Fest. Recently the group opened for Christian music icon, Dalls Holm, at multiple venues in New York and Pennsylvania. The band consists of Dustin Knapp (keys), Mike Stamp (percussion/vocals), Tom Smith (bass/vocals), and Russ Peters (guitar/lead vocals). The goal of the group is to lead people into God's presence, not provide for their entertainment. Using original songs, old hymns-made-new, and popular contemporary songs heard on today's Christian radio, the music becomes the vehicle to "enter His presence with Thanksgiving, and His courts with Praise" .. |
