Ken Tamplin is the former guitarist, vocalist, leader of Shout. After Shout broke up, several bands pursued Ken to be their vocalist including Motley Crue. Ken's vocal range is amazing and ... he's an incredibly gifted guitarist and songwriter to boot. He has also co-written songs with Gene Simmons for Kiss as well as helped produce a number of projects, including the first Angelica CD.
Shout is 80's L.A. hair metal in the highest degree; in look and in sound. Shout's debuted in 1988 at a time when Christian metal of any sort was not in abundance. Ken Tamplin has a great voice and is an excellent guitarist ... and ... "It Won't Be Long" is a solid CD. The layered vocals, heavy guitars and melodic keyboards mix very well on these tracks. This disc is a collector's item and rarely sells for less that $20 thru on-line auctions!
