Where did the downloaded file go?
I downloaded a file but I can't find it! Where did it go?? Often times, we download files and then can't find them. By default, Windows will download a file to the last place it downloaded to. For instance, if you last downloaded to your "desktop" then by default, Windows will download to "desktop".

With that said (and still not answering your question!), where can the stray audio file go?

Follow the steps below to find the lost file:
  • Search your computer for the file (Windows):
    1. Click on STARTSEARCH, FOR FILES AND FOLDERS (or CTRL-F* on the keyboard)
    2. Type in full or partial name of file (i.e. " *.m4a ",  " *.mp3 ", " *presskit.pdf ", etc.)
    3. Click on SEARCH NOW
    4. Once you find the file, move it to the desired location:
      • Right click on the file and click on CUT (CTRL-X*)
      • In desired location, right click and click on PASTE (CTRL-V*)
  • Search your computer for the file (Macintosh):
    1. Click on the file menu and click FIND (APPLE-F*, or magnifying glass in top right of menu bar)
    2. Type in full or partial name of file (i.e. " *.m4a ",  " *.mp3 ", " *presskit.pdf ", etc.)
    3. Click on Search now
    4. Once you find the file, move it to the desired location:
      • Right click (Hold CONTROL and click) on the file and click on CUT
      • In desired location, right click and click on PASTE
Now that you found the file, where is the best place to store it?
