How Can I Download Files?
The downloads are offered by the site, however the way the file is downloaded depends greatly on several things:
  • The browser you are using:
    • Netscape, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, AOL are the most popular browsers and they each will download the file slightly different. Once presented with the download, a "save dialog box" will be shown. No matter the browser, you will want to choose where to save this. Remember this location for later use.
  • The operating system you are using:
    • You should not have any problems with Windows 98, Windows ME, or Mac OS9.x
    • You may have problems with Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Mac OSX.x
      • Check for permission issues. Some operating systems (Windows XP Pro) restrict saving files.
      • Check  to make sure the file is being saved in the right place. Because of administrative restrictions, these operating systems can even limit where files can be stored.
      • Please check with your system administrator if you have problems SAVING the file.
      • Note: If you have Windows XP (home or pro) at home and are not logging into a "work" network with your computer, you should not have any permission issues.
If you are still having problems, please contact us for more answers and contact information.
